What are your COVID policies?

We are currently operating at 50% capacity. We ask that you respect social distancing between your group and other guests aboard. Masks are recommended, but not required by patrons.

Can I show up without a reservation?

We highly recommend reservations for all cruises and kayak rentals.

Can I bring my food and drinks?

You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch and beverages aboard. Please be kind and place all trash into the inside trash cans to avoid anything blowing into the lake waters.

When should I show up for my reservation?

Check in for the cruise is 25 minutes before departure time. If you have booked a kayak reservation, please show up at the time of your reservation.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

The cost of items reserved are charged to your card on the day you make your reservation. You may cancel or change your booking (excluding non-refunadable special priced tickets) LESS A $5 FEE PER TICKET when cancellation or change is made on or before NOON THE DAY BEFORE YOUR CRUISE. NO REFUNDS for any changes or cancellations after 12 noon the day before your cruise.

What if the weather is bad?

Vanishing Texas Cruises want to make sure you have a safe, comfortable cruise! Due to the nature of our cruise vessel, when the national weather service issues lake wind advisories, we will cancel our trip. Also, impending lightning storms may cause a delay or cancellation of a cruise. Since we live in Texas, we can experience quick weather changes. If we feel conditions will be safe, we will still run the tour and fees will be assessed if the customer cancels. We will attempt to contact all passengers at least one (1) hour ahead of cruise time to cancel if there are weather concerns. When we cancel a cruise, you will have the opportunity to rebook or get a refund.

How do I get to the cruise?

Please see “Contact Us” for the address and directions to the cruise. We do not offer or pay for transportation to and from the cruise.
